A new addition to our foodie book collection: Lateral Cooking by Niki Segnit

We were super excited to have this mysterious package arrive in the post one drizzly morning!

The lovely Bloomsbury publishing knew we were fans of The iconic Flavour Thesaurus and so very kindly sent us the follow up companion book by Niki Segnit: Lateral Cooking.

Emily and John loved it's gorgeous colour coordinated packaging. We wouldn't expect any less from Niki, who believes in quality from the content through to the design and finish.

Separated into chapters with plenty of illustrations and information in digestable chunks, it's simple to navigate and lovely to dip into. Lateral Cooking encourages improvisation, resourcefulness, and, ultimately, the knowledge to help you cook with confidence.

Thanks Niki and Bloomsbury Publishing for adding some more colour and vibrancy to our bookshelves with a new classic in the making and plenty of cookery inspiration. For now it's sitting pride of place on our Green and Black's chocolate table in camouflage!
