Looking to Cook, run an independent national competition to give recognition to those schools they believe are “leading the way and offering something that little bit special.” We’re especially chuffed to be one of only two London cookery schools featured.
Looking to Cook described our Fish and Seafood course as offering a “‘holistic’ experience in the city, the highlight of which is often the collaborative, dinner party finale in its cool kitchen.” So what happens on a typical course? Every guest can expect to get stuck into two fish varieties: both flat and round, and a range of seafood such as: mussels, squid, scallops and prawns.
The many accompaniments and related ingredients are also given their moment to shine. This includes carefully explaining how to create the perfect tartar sauce from scratch in seconds to match with any fish once at home.
We love the challenge of this class; gently encouraging nervous guests through to what is always a resounding success. The overall sense of achievement is almost palpable, with the dishes to prove it.
