Travel Taster: Flourishing Italian markets

Speaking of seasonal, as we enter cooler weather here in the UK, John and Emily reminisce about the sunny Italian markets they have come across.

"If sweet is not your thing, head for the bustling market in Oritigia, where you will encounter amazing produce and more tomato varieties than you thought possible.

Along with a selection of fish and seafood to rival anything Billingsgate has.

We were amazed at the low cost of fresh vongole and massive tuna available but my highlight was snacking on voluptuous oysters knocked back with prosecco for €1.5 at 10.30am!" Emily x
